I want to become a volunteer

Volunteers are a valuable part of META, our services would be incomplete without them. In 2019, 43 volunteers from all over the world were helping us. They provide META clients with tutoring, preparing and creating leisure time activities as well as participating in other activities  in Prague and its surroundings. Do you want to be part of that? Are you interested in the migration topic? Do you want to help particular families to integrate into Czech society? Do you want to support children of foreigners in education? Do you have one spare hour a week or two hours a month?

What can you do?

• Tutoring pupils of primary and secondary schools, who need help with Czech language and other school subjects
• Preparing and creating leisure time activities in the social club Čekuj! or Czech culture differently
• Lecturing at workshops focused on the migration, discrimination and integration of pupils at primary and secondary schools
• Participating at events and META activities
• Supporting us in PR, fundraising, administration or IT field
